Casa de Koshare features traditional territorial architecture accented with tromb walls, vigas, latillas, skylights, banco-style seating, brick floors, and the ever-present Indian bread oven (called a horno). The Great Room features Southwestern artwork and furniture, Kiva fireplace, big screen TV, and access to the garden patio area, which provides a panoramic view of the Sandia Mountains by day and the Albuquerque city lights at night. A full breakfast is served each morning with a dash of the Southwest, but traditional and lighter fare is also available. Fresh-brewed coffee and a variety of teas are ready early in the morning, and guests are welcome to help themselves to cookies and hot water for beverages. The rooms at Casa de Koshare are decorated in a distinctly Southwestern style and feature sweets at turndown, bathrobes, and air conditioning. 122 Ashley Lane NW, Corrales, NM - From Albuquerque Sunport: Take I-25 North (towards Santa Fe) to Exit 233 (Alameda Boulevard). After exiting, go left under I-25 onto the Alameda (also designated as 528 West). Stay straight on the Alameda for five miles into the towns of Corrales/Rio Rancho. Look for the light at Ellison Road (there is a Barnes & Noble to the left). Make a right turn on Ellison and follow to the four-way stop sign. Go straight onto Loma Larga. Make a left on Ashley Lane. Follow to property loacation.
